December TBR

Wow, the year is almost over! I can’t even believe how fast it’s gone.

I am so far behind on my Goodreads reading challenge (I need to read 45 books in the next month if I want to complete it!) but I’ve made my peace with not completing it. There’s always next year!

There a lot of books I want to read in December, but here are the top priority ones.

Truthwitch by Susan Dennard – I won an ARC of this book recently, and I’ve already started it. It’s one of my most anticipated books for 2016, and I’m so excited to get into it!!

The Sword of Summer by Rick Riordan – I have been putting off reading this since I got it the day it came out. But no longer! I will read it this month.

The Young Elites by Marie Lu – I have technically already started this, but I put it aside to read other things and haven’t gotten a chance to pick it up again. I really want to get to it before the year ends!

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo – I have heard nothing but stellar things about this book, so of course I can’t wait to get to it.

Carry On by Rainbow Rowell – I ADORE Fangirl, and so since this book came out I have wanted to read it. I just got my hands on it last month, so now is my chance!!

Uprooted by Naomi Novik – I don’t know why, but this book has been calling my name. It seems like a wintery read- for some reason fantasy books always seem like winter books- so now is the perfect time to read it!

Winterspell by Clare Legrand – Of course, I have to read a retelling of The Nutcracker before Christmas!

A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab – I really, really want to read this. There’s no better time than the present!

That’s my relatively ambitious TBR for the month of December. I tried to keep it to a realistic number, but it’s still twice as many as I read in November. Fingers crossed I can get to them all!!
